Hi i found a nice site on the internet that will cut a key from a photo and deliver it at a reasonable price. i came across this site afte many shope refused to cut the blade that came with my keyfob.
Anyway it cost me just £9.99 to get a key cut and i recieved it in the post next day. I paid £18 for a remote keyfob from ebay and put the new blade in it and hey presto a working key for under £30. :D

So its a working key to unlock the door and steering lock then?

I can't see how they can cut a cut from a photo, I was quote £15 for a blank they can cut it from my key. The only problem is its as bit as the original so its not easy to carry as a spare. ;)
i've used them before and they are great. I had an 02 with key blade and i just sent them a photo. I found them from Ebay actually. The only thing that it didnt work was the trunk, no idea why, but it didnt open the trunk, key wasnt turning. It worked in the glove box, door handle, rear seat locks, trunk relase lock from inside of the car and in the ignition, but not the trunk. Ohh well.
yes i have same issue works all doors and ignition but not the boot lock can see no reason for this the key looks identical. but at least i have a working key that unlocks the car and starts it. :)
wow that is just weird! But as you said you have the remote trunk relase so you never need to open the trunk with the key.
Do you any link?
