I've got the fault for a broken fuel temp sensor, the one in the pump. I'm wondering does it actually do anything because this is the second time and I replaced it the first time but can't say I noticed any change in the cars running or fuel consumption.

This is in a non pd 90 bhp engine:)

It changes fueling a little bit to account for temp changes. FYI, make sure you check for chafed wiring because I had a pump die from broken wires. A failed fuel temp sensor was the first thing to fail.
