Just had my 2005 Passat TDI transmission rebuilt. 341,000 miles it stopped going into revise. I have had a new torque converter on order at the VW dealer for one year, they are not getting them in. So I found Vojin Paunovic, he is a ZF dealer, he uses ONLY ZF parts, NEW ZF torque converter for less that 1/2 price from the VW dealer. My car is shifting so nice! Vojin has many VW parts on the shelf, he can do what ever is needed on any of the diesels and gas engines. Vojin and his son do the work, nobody else. TOP QUALITY work. He had to replace the transmission pan due to a bend in it and exhaust clamps. Total $3600, very good price! ZF parts are more expensive that other transmissions. This went 341,000 without an issue. His number is 815-608-3222.
