i'm wanting to install am electric fuel pump to help prime the ip and prevent air leaks ect... but i don't really want to put one inside the tank... I think 5 to 8 psi is good, however, i'm not sure, what volume to flow... I kno at 48 mph, the car burns about a gallon of fuel an hour... but that doesn't help because that doesn't include the return to the tank. i need to know how many gallons per hour the ip flows so i can match it with my electric pump.

I purchased a 4 psi 25 gph pump and installed it and it moves just enough fuel to fill the filter and prime the system. instead of installing it in the tank, i put it right beside the fuel filter and the coolant overflow can. it sets right above the passenger side headlight and works just fine.
