I have a 2005 Passat TDI. It has about 94000 miles and has had the timing belt etc changed. Once in awhile while driving the engine feels like it stutters (only term I could think of) It only happens so often and very very briefly. I have concerns over what it might be. Any ideas ? Thanks in advance

It could be cam wear, a boost leak, a fueling problem, bad fuel, or a sensor problem. See if there are any codes before you start chasing the problem. Autozone or the like will scan it for free.

It's possible the timing belt wasn't adjusted correctly. Are you still on the chain drive oil pump?

Will the timing belt throw a code if it is not adjusted right. I feel like it didn't start until after the dealer had replaced the belt.
