I got some self adhesive foam today from a guy off another UK forum, now I just need to figure out how to cut it out so I can fit it.

And of course here's the underside of my engine cover.

I also noticed that the centre badge is held in by little clips and would be easily removed which could prove useful if you could get a cover but needed a different logo, seat, vw, skoda.:)

I can add more specific photos etc if anyone wants them, showing the clips for the badge in more detail etc.:)

Lol that wouldn't be very useful, the guy works with his dad and they make foam for the auto industry and when I gave him the specs I did tell him that it had to be heat resistant and also fire retardent so as long as he has taken note of that I should be ok.:)

Besides I sat it on an old convector heater I have lying around and turned it up full, it got really hot but it was totally fine:D

What's the point of all that foam and engine cover stuff anyway? Took mine off years ago to help a bit with engine cooling. Doesn't sound any noisier plus you save a few unnecessary pounds.
