I am having an electronic immobilizer problem on a 2002 jetta gls 1.8t. What is needed to check and fix problem???? Anyone...

To check what the problem is you have to provide the error codes. Otherwise a suggestion is just guessing. Please describe your symptoms. What warning lights do you see? Does the enginen start at all? Then look through the immobilizer FAQ and see if any of the troubleshooting steps work. If not, say which you couldn't do.
