egr delete?

So i am sending out my ecm to get tuned by rocket chips next week. I was wondering if anyone can tell me what i have to do to delete the egr system now. Can i just block off the exhaust port on the exhaust manifold and the port on the intake manifold and be done with it, or do i have to remove the butterfly valve that is in the intake piping too? thanks for you help

Both or either. IMHO, remove the pipes since it will clean up the engine bay and block it off at the exhaust.
