I started my mods here in this forum with a lot of questions to Chitty and the rest members about how to start to mod my car,, so we had a TDI dyno day here in the SF Bay Area last Saturday I went there to say hi to everybody and to check how a dyno was done at the same time,,even though I was not quite ready to dyno my car "cause it was only boosting 22PSI, the peer pressure from TDi members made me do it,, so my car went on the dyno rollers, here are the numbers

my dyno

Very impressive with the warm temps and average air pressure. Assuming wheel horsepower. No torque value?

If you go to dyno tests in the future, try to stick with dynojets because different dynos will give different results.

No TQ,only HP, the shop had a lot of TDI cars lined up and they were not doing the TQ to speed up the process, LCD dyno shop said that next time they will be setting up the optical for the TQ.

I won the second place, the first place was a beetle with233HP with NOS, without NOS 168HP,, I was able to get 195.88HP (engine only)
Do you have a mod list?
RC6, 502's, 17/22, FMIC, W/M, 11MM, L/P, and believe it or not I still got the stock clutch.
Very impressive that you are on the stock clutch, I think you are the exception??

I don't like to count NOS or race fuel results since it's not something that gets run on the street. Not unless it's a track car and it regularly uses race fuel or NOS.
Great results! Most people don't go all the way to a new pump and turbo/ I can't imagine what it's like to ride in that thing.

Wow, I though the limit was about 200 lb-ft of torque for the stock clutch, at the flywheel. You are probably making at least 250 lb-ft. At the wheels, at least 280 at the crank.

The clutch is the DMF-LUK and it is a little bit stronger than
the regular ALH clutches, it came with the car, but it still holding on strong do not ask me why.
I am going to install an upgraded Cam to go over the 200HP, I hope it works, I got all the TB tools to do it now, It should be an easy job and my car will be breathing better at least that is what I hope.
Dynoed my car again about a week ago, with the new cam R-32 euro-snorkel, and this time I was boosting 26 PSI, and for some reason, the same LCD shop were I dynoed in 08, were not able to figure out how to hook up the optical TQ in my car, my other 3 buddies that were there dynoing their TDI's with me were able to get their TQ values.

WOW! How much torque is there? Estimated? I see only max power.

No TQ value from the shop, they hooked the optical up and went haywire. I just do not know how do the calculation for TQ..
:thumbsup The 200 hp club!

Congrats, you must have put a lot of work into that machine!

Thanks Chitty and Yes i have put a lot of work, My back hurts from going down under the car and from getting up to the engine bay but I am finally done, now I am working with another TDI.
You should have a 1% sticker for the car - the top 1% most powerful TDI. Considering the car had 90 HP stock, 200 HP is pretty excellent!

Yes the car had 90HP originally when I purchased it, and I worked my way up the ladder, I added 118 HP, totaling now 208HP, and I know I could go higher if I install the R-520's 5 holes nozzles, I am getting them soon so I could go and dyno to see the difference between the 502's and R520's, now I am shooting for 210HP plus I would like to have a peak at my TQ value this time
Dyno and drag race at PDX.

I just dynoed my car now this time with the new GTB2260 turbo that I installed,, all my 3 pulls at dynojet went bad,,,when I got to 29 PSI I got limp mode, my tune is for 38 Psi now,, so I was not able to get a precise HP numbers,, the best I got at 29 Psi was 244 HP...

here is a video going against my buddy at Woodburn OR,,we raced there at the TDI fest on labor day.. he also got a 2260 turbo in his PD tdi... there were a total of 10 TDI cars racing and we had assigned lanes, you can also see some of the other races on this link below...
