I saw that other cars have a water drain on the bottom of the fuel filter. Some have a screw on the top, does this mean that I have no drain? What is the drain intervel?

It was suggested to me to use a turkey baster and/or some form of syphon if I wanted to clean out the fuel filter housing when changing the fuel filter. Wouldn't the same method apply if you feel you have a water issue?

I also found a way to purge the fuel tank at http://www.powerservice.com/cd/default.asp if you are really worried about water.

If your concerned about water in your fuel there is several ways to change out the fuel filter housing for a aftermarket style with water drain off options. Lots of write ups on those things. Happy modding..
