I've been reading on other forums of people "retrofitting" front footwell lights because their vehicles didn't come with them. Am I missing something here, I thought all the Golf models came with these lights?

Can someone confirm the 2010's and more importantly the 2011's do in face have these?

It maybe a good idea Chris if you put you spec in your signature then users wouldn't need to ask simple things. Or in what car you drive. There are different TDI's 1.6, 1.9, 2.0 that I know of.

Yes, my 2011 Golf TDI 6-speed has them and I believe they are adjustable; the car seems to be light on the inside so I dimmed a bit fm the factory setting. R.

My '11 Golf TDI has adjustable-level footwell lights, including switched off.
