Hi guys,

I'm in the middle of an install of a crankshaft seal and camshaft seal.
I just noticed that the seals do not come with installation sleeves.

Does anyone have the speciality tool
T10053

for the Crank and the camshaft

Oil seal driver -10-203 tool?

If I could borrow it for an afternoon, Id be happy to repay you in burritos and beer.

Thanks!

My seal came with the sleeve, not the setting tool though.
What kind of deal did you get. There's two different types and one says specifically not to oil it when installing. It should come with install shield sleeve and specific directions.
Otherwise, you don't want that seal. They will cause a groove to be cut in the crank.
This is the one you do want

As I said, it'll cause a groove to be cut into the crank. The one I linked to is recommended. Surprised VW have you there old style
