Does anyone know how you change the left outer CV boot on a 2006 Jetta DSG? I found a how too on an mk4 but it is not the same. it looks like you press the joint off because I do not see a circlip like the mk4. Does anyone have a picture that would show how this would work? Already have axle out of car.

Out boot replacement is the same as the mk4 CV boot. The c-clip is inside of the CV joint. You have to knock off the joint to get it past the c-clip. Once you get it off you can see how it works. The video shows a trick to get the joint off but you can make a jig to do the same thing because I don't recommend taking the inner joint off. If it's crooked it will get jammed and won't come off.
