Cost to replace timing belt

What is a fair cost to replace the timing belt? 2004 TDI.

timing Belt replacement

dealers are almost always higher than independent automotive shops I would say a good price for a shop is $ 500.00 - $ 750.00 parts & Labor most dealers would charge more than that........
