98 tdi 207K miles got its first new clutch this week. The COCS won't stay in anymore. Can't be a coincidence. All parts including new slave cylinder are OEM. I found where VW had issued a TSB but they say its no longer in their system and the fix only adds a tab on the clutch mounting bracket that holds a rubber bump stop. The clutch dissengages all the way at the floor now so preventing it from going to the floor seems like a bad idea. I think I'm just going to leave it off. I can't see any purpose for it anyway. Anyone have any similar expierence or advice?
