Replacing the cams in my CJAA (just an upgrade, no mechanical issues....yet) and was wondering how to time them. Can’t seem to find any marks on them at all. Replacements don’t have timing marks on them at all either.
I’m aware of a tool that’ll lock the cams in time but it’s a thousand bucks and I just tinker with my car as a hobby.
Anyone have any experience with this? Any suggestions?

I haven't done anything with my timing belt yet but the link above is where you can buy the tools for it. Far less than $1000. I believe the link is the set you need. Double check though.

Appreciate the feedback, although I’m having trouble timing the cams. They’ll be coming out of the vehicle...so a little more in depth than just a timing belt replacement.
