i have a vw golf tdi 2000 110hp and was thinking about putting in a chip. do you think it might damage my car? or if i put in a good brand (suggestions?) will it be ok?
do they actually work?
thank you

I assume you are in the UK or Europe because of the hp rating. The brands will be different. They work quite well and your model year responds well to power chips because they've been out and tested for a long time. The only problem you may have is a slipping clutch due to the increased power.

Chipping and remapping the ECU are the same thing. In the US, we could just do a flash through the OBDII port. Revo is pretty good but a local tuner might have more experience with that engine.
