hy guys!

i recently bought a kenwood cd-changer. i plugged it in my mfd2 navigation but it doesn;t work. is there anything i have to do to make it work?

I don't know about your model but most VW cd changers require a handshake through the communication. There are adapters that copy this handshake but if your CD player doesn't have it it won't communicate. Does your head unit have an aux-in or line?

This is correct. What color are your buttons? In 2007 they did finally end the handshake so that you can use generic cd changers but you may have the old model. The MFD2 does have an aux-in but there is no line.
