We just cleaned oil out of our intercooler- reseach seems to tell us that it comes from either the turbo, the CCV or is just "oil moisture" build up.

It definatly seems to be coming from th CCV, but we are unsure of our next steps. how does the CCV fill up with so much oil and how do we reverse the process?

Drive the car hard for a few minutes and check again. If it's filled with oil you have a problem. If not, drive hard every once in a while. Remember, it could be as much as a pint of oil in there and be normal if the car is never driven with high rpm. If the oil is excess:
-you have a leaky turbo, the presence of oil could mean a runaway engine is imminent.
-if it's coming from the CCV, there is excess oil mist which is often from low engine compression or some other problem.
