Hi,

Please bear with my whilst i explain the following.

I have a 2009 Mk6 GT TDI Golf.

It has a RNS510 headunit from a 2005 MK5 GTI in it.
It has a bluetooth module under the seat - model number. Novero 3C8 035 730A

When i take a phone call the phone call comes out (mono) but on all speakers.
When i play music from my phone on bluetooth it only comes out the right speaker. (This bit drives me mad!)

Bearing in mind my specific hardware, could anyone advise on how i fix this, or point me in the direction of someone who knows who ould fix this? I'm based in Nottingham UK.

Thank you in advance.

There's a couple FAQ documents on bluetooth variations linked to over in the mk5 forum. Sounds like you have the 9wZ module, which they don't provide much info for. But it sounds like a similar problem to swapping a 9w7 module into a car that originally came with the 9w2 or 9w3 module. The car is only wired for sound from the right channels. Calls are single channel, so they don't matter, but music is a different story. You'll probably have to add wiring for the left channel. Two wires from the bluetooth module under the seat up to the back of the radio.
