See the MAF FAQ and limp mode FAQ at the top of the forum or in 1000q. I think you could be in permanent limp mode but try the most common solutions first to check the MAF.
Low power could also be a clogged fuel filter. Generally, the onset of limp mode is the power cutting out when you request more power and turning on/off the ignition resets it.
IMHO, if you are getting limp mode you'll feel it. It's like the engine suddenly bogs down or if you hit a really strong headwind. Accelleration is horrible with limp mode.
I would think that if there was really something wrong, you'd notice it when it was starting to get worse. Otherwise, maybe an air leak in the hoses, maybe a clogged fuel filter? You are supposed to change the fuel filter every 20,000 miles.
