hi, i have a ford galaxy with a 1.9tdi vw engine fitted code AUY, i have fitten a timing belt kit complete also hydraulic tappets (Europarts) but the vehicle has developed a vibration/backbeat/drone noise @ air filter box area, more pronounced @ low revs, have double checked belt/timing & reset the injectors but it is still there, have had Vag Com on it but picks up no fault codes so if it isnt a sensor which should have shown with Vag Com then it must be a mechanical issue but cant find anything, there doesnt seem to be any loss of power but fuel consumption not what it should be, any ideas pls ?
Cheers

Something loose? Bad flywheel? Serpentine belt? I don't know if your engine has an alternator pulley but a lot of these engines have a one way clutch on the alt. Remove belt and counterhold fan with a wood stick , pulley should only rotate one way.
