Hey,

My "check engine" light has been on for two months, EGR code of some sorts, and haven't made the time to dismantle and clean out.

A newish station now offers B20 fuel, so I wanted to try it. After 200km, the light no longer comes on? Is the bio-diesel doing this? Is it possible it has cleaned out a small portion so the code is no longer triggered?

I don't think so, but possible?

Not possible. It might clean out something in the fuel system but if it's an EGR code then no way.

The CEL will go out by itself after a certain number of engine starts for a number for faults. This assumes that the fault doesn't come back.

This is probably what happened. Figure out how to fix the EGR code. These codes are normally related to a boost leak or vacuum line that has a break, or a sticking EGR.
