VCDS showing 4 faults. Auxillary heater element. Part #1KO963235E. Drivers electric window motor. Drivers door mirror blinker. Locking module on drivers door.

All these are working. How do I find out what is causing the faults.

You need to get your motor scanned (preferably with VAG-COM\VCDS) for any error codes logged in the ecu and post them, that will save a lot of guessing and check systems out.

VAG Error Code: 16725/000833/6039/4113

EOBD II Error Code: P0341

Fault Location:
Camshaft Position (Hall) Sensor (G40) - Implausible Signal

Possible Cause:
Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL)(K83) active.

Wiring/Connector(s).
Camshaft Position (Hall) Sensor (G40) faulty.
Timing misaligned.

Possible Solutions:
Check/Replace all faulty Wiring/Connector(s)..
Read Measuring Value Blocks (MVB).
Check Camshaft Position (Hall) Sensor (G40).
Check Timing.

Tech Notes:
Sometimes and in some models, low battery voltage or a weak starter can trigger a Camshaft Position Sensor code.

When is the code detected?:
The camshaft position sensor signal sent to the Engine Control Module (ECM) during the first few seconds of engine cranking is out of range.

Description:
The Camshaft Position (Hall) Sensor is an electronic device used in an engine to record the rate at which the camshaft is spinning. This information is used by the Engine Control Module (ECM) to control ignition and fuel injection. The camshaft position sensor senses the retraction of camshaft (intake) to identify a particular cylinder. The Camshaft Position (Hall) Sensor senses the piston position. The sensor system consists of a rotating part, typically a disc, as well as a static part, the actual sensor. When the engine is running, the high and low parts of the teeth cause the gap with the sensor to change. The changing gap causes the magnetic field near the sensor to change. The change in the magnetic field cause the voltage from the sensor to change. When the Crankshaft Position Sensor system becomes inoperative, the camshaft position sensor provides various controls of engine parts instead, utilizing timing of cylinder identification signals.

VAG Error Code: 00109

Fault Location:
Turn Signal Lamp: Left Mirror (L131) - Electrical Fault in Circuit

Possible Cause:
Wiring/Connector(s).
Voltage Supply for Left Mirror, Turn Signal Lamp (L131) faulty.
Left Mirror, Turn Signal Lamp (L131) faulty.

Possible Solutions:
Check/Replace all faulty Wiring/Connector(s).
Check Voltage Supply for Left Mirror, Turn Signal Lamp (L131).
Check Left Mirror, Turn Signal Lamp (L131) Operation.
Replace Turn Signal Lamp: Left Mirror (L131) with new unit as LED bulbs are not a replacement item.

LED bulbs:

ElsaWin Quote:
On some vehicles, the illumination is not provided by a light bulb, but by an LED (light-emitting diode), depending on the equipment level. This LED is permanently attached to the retaining sleeve and cannot be renewed separately.
Retaining sleeves with a light bulb are available in different versions. On the one version, the light bulb can be replaced separately; on the other version, the light bulb cannot be replaced separately. In this case, the bulb carrier has to be replaced together with the light bulb.

VAG Error Code: 00944

Fault Location:
Heated Exterior Mirror: Passenger Side (Z5) - Electrical Fault in Circuit

Possible Cause:
Mirror Heating doesn't work.
Mirror heater not installed.

Heated Exterior Mirror: Passenger Side (Z5) faulty.

Possible Solutions:
Check Wiring/Connectors from/to Heated Exterior Mirror Passenger Side (Z5)
Read Measuring Value Blocks (MVB).
Check/Replace Heated Exterior Mirror: Passenger Side (Z5).

Special Notes:
Sometimes the switch button for the mirror has 'L', 'R' and '0'. When switched on '0' the mirror heating is on!

VAG Error Code: 00361

Fault Location:
Heater Element for Auxiliary Heater (Z35) - Faulty/Defective

Possible Cause:
Auxiliary Heater not working.
Fault Code(s) cannot be cleared.

Wiring/Connector(s).
Heater Element for Auxiliary Heater (Z35) faulty.

Possible Solutions:
Check/Replace all faulty Wiring/Connector(s).
Read Measuring Value Blocks (MVB).
Check/Replace Heater Element for Auxiliary Heater (Z35).

Special Notes:
When found in Auxiliary Heater, this Fault Code often cannot be cleared. Usually this Code implies that the Heater Element (Z35) houses the Control Module this Fault Code is stored in, therefore the Heater Element may need to be replaced to fix this.

Thank you very much for reading the codes and suggesting the fixes. I have replaced the cam sensor. Now ok. I have replaced the parking lamp. Now ok. I did at one time replace the drivers door electric window master switch control unit only because the black rubber material from the factory worn off and I found a better looking one in a junk yard and put it in my car. The windows work fine. But you know maybe that is why the passenger mirror heater is now not showing that it works. It did before. I can live with the auxiliary heater code. It does warm up right away when you drive it. I will use the VCDS and measure blocks. I have never used this feature before. I don't want to do something wrong and have the car not run. Any special blocks not to touch. Thanks again.
