I have just got my car back from the workshop. They adjusted the TDI timing due to problem with idling up and down 800 - 1300 rpm. The pump was also at Bosch workshop for test with no fault found. Now the car runs perfect but for my own interest I took a look at different values with my VAG-com. I can see that different values seem to be out of range, are there any reason to worry or adusting any setting? IQ seem to be high etc .., the values are from warm motor Thanks in advance //

I forgot to mention that I had fault code 00550 when I put the car at workshop and now that's fine and no faultcodes any longer
How did they adjust the timing? Is this a pumpe duse motor?
It's a VE engine 2.5lit V6. They had the front down an adjusted the timing belt and as well had the injectorpump off and tested at a Bosch workshop (no faults were found but maybe there was a very small adjustment when fitting the wheel to the pump) // Nils-Ã…ke

my question is related to the values out of range, eg Injected Quantity

If those are really the values then something is off.

I am not sure what the values for the V6 should be since we did not have that engine in the US. Here is my best guess: 95% duty cycle on the EGR seems very high to me. On my engines, 50-75% seems normal at warm idle.

The MAF specified vs. MAF actual seems off to me. I believe that the values should be within the ranges that VAG COM specifies. http://www.myturbodiesel.com/1000q_how_to/multi/IQadjusthammermod.htm Read this on how to adjust the mg/str Injected quantity from 9, to bring it down to 3-8. Then see what the other values are.

Or bring it back to the shop and tell them that they fixed the problem but the values are all off.
Something is wrong. VCDS gives label files to see the correct range but even if the label files are wrong the values won't be off like that. If you had a timing belt job recently does anyone know how that would effect EGR duty cycle?
