audi a6 2.0 TDI balance shaft assembly timing..?

Hi can anyone help me with the timing procedure for the balance shaft/oil pump assembly on a 2.0 TDI A6 engine code "BRE"......? Any help will be much appreciated... Cheers.. Glenn..

It should be the same as the 2.0L BHW engines we had here from what I hear.

At TDC, use the T10255 tool to hold the balance shaft steady while you tighten its bolts. There is a step by step pictorial here: http://www.myturbodiesel.com/1000q/b5/oil-pump-passat-tdi-replacement.htm
