I am trying to figure out how the crank sensor works on the VW 2.0L PD. It has the pickup for the crank signal within the rear main seal. Is there a way to find out how that signal works and how many notches it is reading, and what voltage and/or frequencies are passing through each wire.
I think some of the newer Gen 5's are also using a simular crank pickup. Any help would be appreciated.
