I recently had Potenza 225/50/16 put on my 02 MK4 Jetta.
There is a pronounced whine in the cabin, even at low speeds- I investigated and found that the ALIGNMENT SPEC SHEET input they used was 2006 Jetta A5-- My question is, would this cause, or enhance the whining noise? More to the point, are the alignment specs totally different?

IS THIS NORMAL FOR SEMI-SLICK TYRES?
wOULD REALLY APPRECIATE ANY FEEDBACK, THNKS:dunno

You might be able to see some uneven dust pattern or uneven wear if it's off. It shouldn't be too far off since it's +/- a few degrees. Maybe your power steering fluid is low or the differential is wining?
Thnx 4 the advice- the dif is 100%, the noise started when I drove away from the tyre shop, steering is perfect too.
