Air flow to rear vents

Can the speed be adjusted or is it relying on the same fan used to push air out the front vents?

It's the same fan but at least on my mk5 Jetta there's an adjustment on the vents. So I guess you could restrict flow but you couldn't increase flow. If you want the back to have more flow than the front, restrict flow in the front and turn up the fan so that it goes out the back.
