Two writeups for the 1998-2003 mk4 TDI have been added.

TDI fuel injector nozzle selection hints and detailed FAQ - this is probably the most detailed single page on TDI nozzles anywhere.
http://www.myturbodiesel.com/1000q_how_to/multi/TDInozzleFAQ.htm

and

Nozzle/fuel injector removal/installation procedure - includes many notes and cautions that are not in other nozzle writeups. Also fixes the incorrect torque value for injector reassembly that other writeups have.
http://www.myturbodiesel.com/1000q_how_to/multi/nozzleinstall.htm

If there are mistakes, corrections, more info, please make a post and I will update the writeups as necessary.

The link for tdiparts is broken.

It looks like you had a search and the search session expired so the link just takes you to their home page. Try a direct link to the product.

No TDI had the vr6 clutch stock. It bolts onto the mk3 tdi but it's not the same part. It looks similar but has different part numbers.

Someone also mentioned an additional caution: if you use a q-tip be careful not to drop it into the injector hole.

I think that tying a string, using an extra large swab such as a small foam paintbrush or bending the q-tip into a "z" shape so it won't fit into the hole are possible solutions.

No, wrench tight means tighten it "tight" to reasonable amount with a wrench. This is about 25-40 ft lbs depending on how big your arms are. Then turn it another 1/4 turn.
