another question for this week. i know the door locks are vacuum operated, not exactley sure how the system works but i go to lock the doors and the drivers side, front and rear doors, the lock stems or whatever you want to call them, go down but dont stay down. sometime i can get the drivers side door to lock about half way, you can open the door but it only opens about half way. would that be a bad vacuum valve or a broken line? any idea where i should start trouble shooting? much appreciation for anyones help

well the passenger side front door im pretty sure doesnt lock either, but im not really concerned because it doesnt open from the outside. the only actual operating door is the pass. rear. it opens form the outside and locks, you can manually push and pull the plunger and it works just fine. however the drivers side front and rear do not go down manually. there seems to be some binding of the parts inside so you cant force it down. the only time it works, and its still only half way is with the key, locking the doors form the outside
