Was driving home and the CEL lit up. The code is P0269 Cylinder 3 Contribution/Balance.
The motor doesn't appear to be misfiring and doesn't seem to show signs of reduced mileage or reduced performance.
The only thing I can think of is that on these brutally cold Los Angeles mornings (tongue in cheek there), I have noticed it doesn't fire immediately and may take another turn to fire up. These are on mornings of 40F or so.
I had the factory recall work done four months back and the DEF injector replaced.
I was thinking of trying some fuel additives before taking it to a mechanic.
Any input and advice on how to proceed with resolving this issue with the least amount of heartburn?
