Hello from Columbus Ohio
2014 Chevy Cruze Diesel. 70,000 miles.
Bought used ...real nice car except for road noise!
Already had it in 2 times for DEF tank replacement and related
ck engine light came on the other day so I hooked up
the Autel tester that I had to buy to do a Manual Regen a year ago.(Wife
only drives a mile each way to work and sometimes we don't get her cleaned out .)
Anyway I hooked up the Autel tester and it pulled 3 codes:
P21DD-00 P21DD Reductant heater 1 current too low.
U0073-00 U0073 Control Module Communication Bus A Off
B048D-06 I forget what that one is
The special warranty covers the DEF system up to 120,000 miles

Question ..Are these 3 codes related so that when I go to a dealer
he is not going to tell me that the other codes caused the DEF problems.??
I cleared that last code and it also wiped out the other codes so I am wondering.
Immediately when I cleared the codes the engine idle raised at least 100 rpms.
Any help appreciated in advance.

First posts normally go in introductions else you could get a free fix and we never see you again!!!

Forum Rules and Guidelines

This is a new forum layout which is owned by a company 6 months ago that doesn't give a dam with loads of bugs which have been reported in the new thread. There is no TDI Wiki at the moment or original similes. It doesn't show the car spec/location.

We Are Live - Community Feedback

This has been talked about many times.

I've made a poll which no one has posted in, there are a few votes and comments.

Do you like the new forum features?

Wiki pages have been restored as of 7th December, I asked where is the link it should be on top of the main forum.

New TDI forum member introductions won't fucking connect to change pole to poll

What were those error codes scanned with a generic scanner?

You need to get your motor scanned (preferably with VAG-COM\VCDS) for any error codes logged in the ecu and post them, that will save a lot of guessing and check systems out.
