Not that many US owners doing their own oil changes, and there are different numbers floating around the Internet. Most of them have to do with confusing quarts and liters. Being a DIY guy, I thought I'd help clarify
2013-2014 US-spec Cayenne Diesel engine oil capacity (including filter)
Liters: 7.3
Quarts: 7.7
And a short-cut for quart buyers; put in 8 quarts. The consolidated amount of oil that's left clinging to the inside of 8 bottles is about 0.3 quarts

I just did my latest oil-change and I concur.

I drain the oil out the bottom (i.e. I don't use an extractor from the top). I then open & remove the oil filter while the pan is still underneath. That results in probably another 1/2 qt. draining out the bottom.

When I refill, I pour in the bottles until just a dribble is coming out, but I don't let them sit there and 'drain' for any length of time.

Doing it that way, 8 quarts fills her right up either to 'max' or one bar below it.
