I finally got permission to show these pictures as part of the website editorial content so here they are:

The first picture is a cutaway illustration but because the engine and interior are in the way, you can't see much. There are some interesting details but don't assume at all that these will be on US spec cars just because they're in an illustration.
The first is the storage bin under the power driver's seat. The second is the light/rain sensor built into the rear view mirror and the self dimming rear view mirror.

Here you can see the front and rear suspension on a 2011 VW Jetta TDI.

While these pictures are interesting, they don't really have a place in any of the FAQ articles. The next one was added to the 2011 VW Jetta TDI buying guide, FAQ, and reviews article http://www.myturbodiesel.com/1000q/a6/2011-VW-Jetta-TDI-buying-guide-reviews.htm : it shows in detail the 2011 VW Jetta TDI size specs and changes vs. the 2010.

VW. They are for editorial use and not for distribution to a third party so don't copy them.

What's interesting about this image is that it also has the driver's side storage bin and power seat. Unlike the above image, this one has the more powerful 140 hp engine as seen by the engine cover. The tires are michelins and the wheels look like the sport package wheels from a VW Passat W8. It also has silver roof rails and DSG transmission.

These are now assisted by computer artists nowadays too. When they used to be done by hand each illustration was its own sketch. Now you can draw each by hand or sketch it from CAD and then layer them on each other. It still takes great skill to make these though.
