Beautiful car! I like it in the real world versus the press release pictures. No HIDs either.
Don't forget, you have to pay hundreds of dollars for the dealer to remove the plastic! Just kidding, they also have to set up some initial settings during dealer prep.
Maybe it's the camera angle but it looks really short in the pics.
Wow & Dealer Info

Was leaning towards black interior, but that cornsilk really looks great. Any ideas whether the fog lights, bodyside moldings, chrome accent strip to prevent scratching et al. will be available through the dealers.

One final one, we're waiting for our VT home to sell (yeah, I know, good luck) and moving to Wilmington, DE. There are a number of dealers withing a 25 mile radius. Anyone had a particularly good experience with any of them? Thanks and sorry for the O.T. in this paragraph.
I'm sure you can add those options later. If I were you I'd ask the dealer the cost to install the parts. Then get quotes from tdiparts, oempl.com, and worldimpex. The parts should be transferrable from the 2009 wagon but the foglights should come from a new Golf/Golf wagon since the shape of the grille is new.

Sometimes it's worth it to buy them later and add them on, sometimes it costs more. If you do it I'd like to hear how much it is too.
Sweet! That White Gold is my color...but I went for the Cornsilk Beige interior. All black is just too hot, dark and drab, especially without the pano sunroof. The Cornsilk seats, doors and headliner combined with the black dash, trim & carpets makes for a brighter and classier look. Fortunately I don't have kids to get it dirty (and the dogs will be crated).
.... what's the first item of the options on that sell sheet? ..the second appears to be the big roof. Thanks.

Jim
The first one is the sunroof +$1300
The second one is the DSG +$1100

You will be relatively close to the Langhorne dealership. It is the #1 or #2 dealer of TDIs in the country. There are lots of great reviews of them (Chris is the name of their internet sales guy I think his username is 3193 on tdiclub)
