When l turn the key to start the engine
Theere’s a hesitation for about ten seconds before the starter turns the
engine over, the last couple of days
when I turn the key to start the engine
it does nothing I do this a couple of
time before the engine turns over,
I had the battery checked and it
is ok, what seems to be my problem?

Wiki pages have been restored as of 7th December, I asked where is the link it should be on top of the main forum.

Get the starter system checked out.

You need to get your motor scanned (preferably with VAG-COM\VCDS) for any error codes logged in the ecu and post them, that will save a lot of guessing and check systems out.

Thread move to the correct section as its not a general question. ;)

Sounds like the starter wires need taken off and cleaned and tighten back up. Start there and report back. Welcome to the fourm. Good luck sir...
