We're a VW family and my wife owns a 2006 TDI Diesel Edition. I race a MK3 GTI with an 1.8T swap and I have owned about 6 GTIs.
I just made the mistake of letting the dealer do a timing belt. Now the car has a hard start during the second or third time you try to start it d uring the day (i.e. it doesn't do it after sitting overnight). I could have done the timing belt myslef, but it is way too hot here in Texas and I'm working on the race car. The dealer also did the DSG service and replaced the DMF. The car has 76K miles.
I checked the torsion value using my VCDS and it was 0°, is that correct?
