I am trying to help a friend. Could you please check the code P3102 for an Audi TDI - 2006 BRM . Seems to be related to turbo boost level. Engine lacks power. Thanks! I am sure about the mileage, it will be the next post.

Audi don't use the BRM only VW. Is that a typo?

Fault Location:
Intake Manifold Flap Motor (V157) - No Signal

Possible Cause:
Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL)(K83) active.
Hard Shudder when turning OFF the Engine.

Fuse(s).
Wiring/Connector(s) from/to Intake Manifold Flap Motor (V157) faulty.
Intake Manifold Flap Motor (V157) faulty.

Possible Solutions:
Check/Replace Fuse(s).
Check/Replace Wiring/Connector(s) from/to Intake Manifold Flap Motor (V157).
Check/Replace Intake Manifold Flap Motor (V157).
Perform Output Test.

Thanks Keith. Probably a typo - I don't remember the engine code.
2006 A6 - TDI engine. ~120K Miles. Low power and black smoke above ~2,000RPM.
Mistery solved: Damaged turbo (seized compressor wheel) was restricting intake air flow. (A lot easier to access turbo on that Audi... ). Cheers!
