2006 2.0 Tdi 4motion 6 Speed Manual

Thinking of replacing our 1997 Turbo Diesel Golf with a newer 2006 2.0 TDI 4Motion 6 speed manual transmission. I am not familiar with these cars. Is there any problems with these models? Looking for opinions before I pluck down my cash. Thanks

Hmmmmm...where are you located? Those were not available in the US or Canada.

Must be Europe. That kind of ride is what we wanted in the US. If it's anything like the Audi driveline, the rear differentials tend to leak oil. Other than that, I don't know any more sorry.

A Golf 4motion 6 speed would be a great ride! Similar to a Subaru WRX but they only had the R32 Golf here.

2.0 TDI 4motion Golf

I am sorry but I didn't realize that VW doesn't import these cars to the USA. I purchased the car 2 days ago then drove it from Christchurch to Nelson, New Zealand, about 250 miles. Lots of winding roads and because it's winter here, some snow and ice. I was amazed at the handling. I don't drive fast but I felt in complete control the whole trip. Thanks again for you help and I will keep you posted on this car.
