Does any one know the 2005.5 TDI VNT actuator part number and replacement procedure? When I am shifting between 1st and 2nd and even between 2nd and 3rd there is a sound that is difficult to describe other than a shhmvph at the 2000rpm mark. A friend said it is most likey my VNT actuator, but I can't seem to find a part number to order one and most links have the entire turbo assembly for sale.
Thanks

It's technically not a separate part from VW. I forget who sold it, either idparts.com or boraparts.com, but someone got ahold of some BEW engine actuators. I've never heard of BRM engine actuators and don't know if they can be swapped.

FYI if you have a shaking like that and it's a DSG transmission, a bad flywheel is a common cause.

It is a BRM engine code and it does not shake or shudder, I think it it more like what is called limp mode. Once that actuation sound is heard then the power kicks up.
