My name is Bob and live in Ky, have an 2004.5 jetta, 5 speed, PD BEW. It has app. 160,000 miles and has been a very good car to this point. It needs to have the camshaft replaced due to excessive lobe and tappet wear. I intend to perform the work myself, however I would welcome any and all advice that might help make the job easier or prevent a mistake. Thanks

I do rent the camshaft sprocket puller and camshaft counterhold upon request if you need them. If you have any questions on the procedure, please ask!
