Besides cleaning the intake manifold, intake screen, and possibly the turbocharger vanes, what other components, if any, will need similar attention on the ALH engine?

None really. If you wash the engine, cover the alternator and fluid reservoirs and gently hose it off. Then blow dry any electrical plugs.
