Hi, I recently switched car batteries and now my Jetta won't start. I've tried leaving the key in the "ignition" position to no avail. Any suggestions? Thanks!

How long did you try it? It's been known to go away overnight if not 10 minutes.

Are you sure it's the immobilizer? The car should still start fine, but shut off after 1 second.

Sorry for not being clear, the car does start, then turns off, and the immobilizer indicator is flashing.
