engine oil change - pretty straight forward, just make sure the old oil filter gasket is off before you put a new one on.

As much as you want? :confused: I can't believe that it's that thin. I guess that's one of the differences between the jetta and passat.
That's right, if you are changing the oil, make sure that the old gasket is off. The Honda CRX SUV had a problem where the oil gasket was left on and the resulting oil leak onto the exhaust caused fires.
