06 Jetta tdi, I think BRM engine code, automatic transmission
Cranks, but wont start.
Tachometer moves a bit while cranking. Ive put quite a lot of hours into working on this to get it running, but nothing.
Trouble code says crank position sensor, so replaced it many times, doesnt fix it, still wont run.
Replaced in tank fuel pump, still nothing. Pump pressure is good.
Replaced the high pressure fuel pump, nothing, no difference.
Made sure the belt was spinning the cam shaft, all good.

Does anyone know some sort of trick of what to check?

Did you check your torsion value?
so how do you check your torsion value if it wont start ?

Op if you continue to get crank sensor codes even after replacing it you need to backpin the connection to the ecu from the crank sensor to determine if you have an issue with the wiring harness. Also you will need a known good when cranking but you should be able to find something on the net, a scope would be ideal but a dvm with ac may tell you something.
