scan tool needed?

    Is the scan tool needed to reset the service intervals for oil and fuel on a 2013 Porsche Cayenne if one was to DIY.

    I can't speak to the Cayenne diesel, but the Q7 requires the scan tool to reset the service interval.

    thanks.... what is the cheapest scan tool to do these service resets? Durametrics is $280.

    I think you can reset via your HU by pressing the 'car' button?
