I have a 2005.5 jetta tdi 1.9 brm a5 guessing its immo 4. I have two master keys and one valet key . I was changing the blades and rfid chips of the master keys to new key fobs. I went to remove one of the rfid chips and it broke.. ugh.. if I get my pin , can I just by a blank/ new rfid chip and use the old master key and new remote and program it with Ross tech Vcds? And if so are is ID48 T6 the correct rfid chip ? Mine was a round glass chip like large grain of rice..any help would be great thanks .

Never heard of anyone replacing just the RFID. I think it would be time consuming to research and not worth the money saved.

I've found the chips for under $10 guessing there not oem at that price, but for an oem fob it's a lot more
