reset trip meter?

    Got my new tdi and I can not figure out how to reset the trip meter.

    Well on mine I just press the 00/SET button and the trip goes back to 0.

    Yes, press and hold for a second or until it resets to 0.

    Correct if does say that in the handbook.

    It looks like a trip to to dealer if yours doesn't reset.

    Simple... Just drive backwards the same number of miles that show on the trip readout...

    So it does zero when you press the 00/SET button then?

    Yes I filled up today and it did reset.
    The fuel gauge also went to the 1 almost. Close enough to full it is between the 1 and the next line.
