Hello, I just recently purchaced a 2004 jetta TDI, with 361000 km's on the odometer. I am impressed with the performance of this vehicule, even though the high km's. Looking forward to colaborating with other TDI enthousiasts.

I've been working on diesels since the 1970's, mostly Mercedes. I've owned VW diesels since the 1980's. They have had their pros and cons. I've had my shop asked to take on the newer VW's and I'm excited to see the latest improvements.

Check out the buying guides in the FAQ section for some common issues and catch up maintenance.

Be warned, these things are addictive and there is no known cure as such although scientists are working on it.:D
